CoinAd is paid to display projects
CoinAd earns revenue from projects that purchase boosts and placements. Any position that has been paid for is labelled 'Sponsored' or 'Promoted' at the point of display — not only in this document.
What a boost affects
A paid boost affects visibility only.
- It can raise a project's Trending Rank.
- It can place a project in a labelled featured slot.
- It cannot change the CoinAd Safety Score.
- It cannot change the Community Support Score.
- It cannot alter market data, remove warnings, or suppress user reports.
No guarantee of position
Except for placements explicitly sold as fixed (for example 'Homepage Featured'), CoinAd does not guarantee any specific rank in exchange for payment. Trending position depends on other projects' activity, time decay, and fraud filtering.
Not an endorsement
A sponsored placement is an advertisement. It is not a recommendation, an endorsement, or a statement that a project is legitimate, safe, or likely to appreciate in value.
